C’est avec un immense plaisir que nous accueillons pour la première fois en Belgique un des rares Sound System 100 % féminin venu tout droit de Berlin !!

Julie Oneness & Jahminta Zulu aka ROOTS DAUGHTERS SOUND SYSTEM nous ferons l’honneur d’animer avec leur propre Sound System cette soirée dédiée à l’expression féminine si peu mise à l’honneur dans la culture reggae.

Notre deuxième invitée est la flutiste PIYAZAWA ! Venant d’Allemagne elle aussi viendra nous bénir avec le son magique et spirituel de sa flute.

Last but not least ! Deux Selectress de Bruxelles : Sista Fab de France/Italie & Lady Conscious Be de Londres, ouvriront la soirée avec leurs vinyles qui vous ferons vibrer haut et fort !!

Brussels Roots Collective is happy to present « SISTREN AT THE CONTROLS », a Spotlight on female artists from the world of Roots Reggae Dub & Soundsystem Culture.

It’s with great pleasure that we welcome, for the first time in Belgium, one of the few 100% female Sound Systems straight outta Berlin! Julie Oneness & Jahminta Zulu aka ROOTS DAUGHTERS SOUND SYSTEM, who will honour us by bringing & hosting the entire session on their own sound.

Our second special guest is flutist PIYAZAWA! Also coming from Germany, to bless us with the spiritual & magical sound of her flute.

Last but not least! Two Brussels based female selectors, Sista Fab from France/Italy & Lady Conscious Be from London, will be opening the night with pure vinyl grooves that’ll have you vibing Body & Soul …
