Brussels based DJ, Olek is a musical vagabond, scrutinizing with sharp eyes and ears what makes people and civilisation move, dance, come together. His fascination for atypical rhythms and melodies has driven him in different corners of the world. For the couple of years, his focus was set on the new musical scene taking place in Portuguese speaking countries (PALOP), such as Angola, Cape-Verde, Brasil etc.. From Lisbon to Rio, passing by the districts of Luanda and the coasts of Mozambique, expect a peregrination throughout Lusophonia, full of batucadas, powerful beats and sysmic dancing..✵. ZETA CLAN – EP Release Concert .✵.
Zeta Clan is a musical collective born in Brussels and rooted in a pan-european hybridation. The band fuses Jazz influences with multi-lingual Hip Hop and Trap. Like pirates, they scavenge the seas and the universe at the quest of new
harmonies and sounds. Their first eponymous EP “Zeta Clan” was released in 2022. “Zuniverse”, their upcoming project, is coming out in autumn 2024.

Solid roots in Puglia, living roman realities. The connection with typical southern folk music expanded from pizzica and tarantella to both close and far territories: Africa and South Asia all the way to South America and the Caribbeans. STRADA brings into her sets a mix of recent and favorite findings, old folk and global bass tracks, field recordings and bangers from independent labels scattered around the world. Expect: percussions and bass

.✵.POPULOUS (dj set).✵.
POPULOUS, aka Andrea Mangia, is a DJ and producer hailing from Lecce, in Southern Italy, known for his global approach to music-making. With a background in musicology, Populous has always been interested in disparate genres and styles of music, which is reflected in the output from the Populous project and its focus on Latin American sounds refracted through a European lens. In 2003, Mangia made his first jaunt into the music world with the album ‘Quipo’ (via Morr Music), followed by ‘Queue For Love’ in 2005. Influenced by his reggae/hip-hop-infused surroundings (Lecce is known as Italy’s Jamaica, as reggae and dancehall are extremely popular there) he released ‘Drawn in Basic’ in 2008, which was well received by international critics, earning him a spot on the global dance music map. The 2010s have seen Mangia refine the Populous sound with albums like ‘Night Safari’ (Bad Panda Records) and ‘Azulejos’ (Wonderwheel Recordings), while also expanding his role as a sound designer for fashion houses such as Gucci, Vivienne Westwood, Isabel Marant and Elie Saab, among others. In 2020, Populous released his most mature album to date, « W », an anthem to femininity in all its facets. « W » (for Women) is an invitation to accept our female side and a way of giving visibility to the issues that are dear to the artist, such as diversity and inclusion, central parts of his LGBTQ+ activist
dialectic. In the same year, Populous collaborated with Christine & The Queens for the remix of « La Vita Nuova » , thereby confirming his influence in the queer international underground scene. Released on June 2021 on La Tempesta Dischi, “Stasi” is his latest album, is a masterpiece of ambient and electronic music, inspired by the seascape.

RaQL a Brussels based artist of Cape Verdean, Portuguese and Angolan origin, she specializes in tropical and electronic music from the Portuguese and African communities around the world. Her sets are eclectic and energizing. She has played in several events in Brussels as well as Core Festival, Sfinksmixed, Dour Campfest, Kiosk Radio and Bruzz. « From multiple origins, it’s while traveling around the world that I got passionate about this music called « from elsewhere ». I was able to find the time to learn my musical ear in order to create my own musicality. A mixture of electronic genres but always tinged with contemporary Afrobeat
Her selection, psychedelic and dancing, tripped out and cinematic, is a way back to ancestry through the cosmic line. Pulsating and transcendental, her sets make a full dance floor in the expectation of the next track, involved in the combination of grooves that range from native music to contemporary beats from many different parts of the globe

.✵.Catu Diosis (Nyege Nyege) (dj set)✵.
Affiliated with Uganda’s renowned Nyege Nyege collective, Catu Diosis has become a sought-after performer on the international stage. Her vibrant and electrifying sets have graced iconic venues & festivals worldwide, including the prestigious Boiler Room, the legendary Berghain, and the eclectic Paleo Festival. One of her standout performances took place at Circulart in Colombia in November 2023, where she mesmerised the audience with her infectious beats and magnetic stage presence.
Catu’s journey is a testament to her unwavering passion for music, her commitment to preserving and evolving her cultural roots, and her ability to captivate audiences around the world. As Catu Diosis continues to break and push the boundaries of the industry, her star is undoubtedly on the rise, illuminating the path for future generations of female African artists on the global stage.
